A workbench for the rate chapter

Rate Bench does the arithmetic of chemical kinetics for students and anyone checking a lab result: it fits the integrated rate laws, works through an initial-rates table, draws the Arrhenius plot and counts down half-lives, and shows every step.

What it is, and is not

• It uses the standard textbook relations (listed in the field notes) and least-squares straight-line fits. It has no database of reactions and makes no claim about any real reaction: the numbers it reports come only from the numbers you give it.
• It is a checking and learning tool. Your instructor’s rules on what may be used for graded work apply.
• Everything is computed on our server when you press Run. There is no AI in Rate Bench, no advertising and no tracking.
• The site is hkinetics.net. Rate Bench is its product name; it is not connected with any company that uses “Kinetics” in its name.

Who runs it

Rate Bench is built and run by WeldonPC (weldonpc.com), a small technology company. It runs by itself: no staff read your data.
